Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan offers a degree in Polish Studies for fulltime students from abroad. Students are to complete six semesters over three years and graduate with a Bachelor of Arts. Courses will be run by experienced lecturers and tutors from the Institute of Polish Philology at AMU and classes will be held in Collegium Polonicum in Slubice, on the German-Polish border. The Polish Studies degree will offer intensive courses in Polish and a second language (English or German) as well as an introduction to Latin. In addition, there will be classes in Polish Literature, Polish and World History and Culture, Polish Linguistics, Philosophy, Teacher Education (Polish as a Foreign Language Methodology, Psychology, Pedagogics) as well as workshops in Translation and Written Polish.
Those interested in these studies are advised to write an expression of interest to e-mail below by June 15 2008. Final procedures to do with admission will take place in July 2008.
