PRODUCT INFORMATION PHRIKOLAT BENTONIT W PLUS
for horizontal directional drilling (HDD)
DESCRIPTION: PHRIKOLAT BENTONIT W PLUS - high-yield violinski sodium bentonite with a high content of montmorillonite (bentonite clay - layered water silicate of magnesium and aluminium). PHRIKOLAT BENTONIT W PLUS is a patented, packaged in packages mixture, which is used very fine bentonite and carefully selected polymer additives. The product is designed to work in difficult and variable ground conditions drilling, which are so frequent in HDD.
APPLICATION: packaged product for HDD; lubricant for pipe jacking and micro-tunnels.
PROPERTIES: PHRIKOLAT BENTONIT W PLUS easily miscible with water and in low concentration represents a stable suspension with optimal strength of the gel and the suspension of drilling cuttings (cuttings) with a minimum of resistance to pumping her pump.
PHRIKOLAT BENTONIT W PLUS reduces the need for filtering through education on the filter fine sediment (mud cake formed by filtering the solution in the field of porous and permeable sediments with high permeability, thereby improving the stability of the wellbore when working in poorly cemented sand and gravel.
PHRIKOLAT BENTONIT W PLUS is converted into a suspension of drilling with extremely high throughput and work on the gravel and prevents the swelling of clays and shales, the accumulation of rocks on the bit when working on soft ground. Adaptation of the rheological properties of the product to changing soil conditions during drilling can be easily achieved by changing the concentration of the solution.
PHRIKOLAT BENTONIT W PLUS is compatible with all PHRIKOLAT Polymers and does not contain harmful substances.
CONCENTRATION DEPENDING ON THE SOIL TYPE:
Clay + Clay/sand 20-25 kg/m3
Sand + Gravel 25-35 kg/m3
Gravel 35-40 kg/m3
Even the slow mixing in a forced action mixer with a transverse shaft during one or more cycles of mixing up liquid solution will increase the performance of the product.
Water used for cultivation of bentonite should be checked for pH and hardness and, if necessary, with the mandatory addition of the permissible quantity of soda ash (maximum concentration of 0.5 kg/m3 ). When using salt water deterioration hydration leads to performance degradation.
PACKING: 25 kg of the same type paper bags with a green stripe at the base.
