Crucibles
The graphite crucibles contain up to 0.5% ash impurities, conductive and
can be used mainly in vacuum and high-frequency furnaces or in
furnaces for smelting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, semiconductor, noble and
other metals, that is, in furnaces operating in a protective gas atmosphere at
a temperature of about 2500°C.
Artificial graphite material loses its mechanical strength at
2800-3000°C and evaporated in vacuum at a temperature of about 2300°C, but is oxidized
in air at about 600°C. Therefore, the crucibles graphite is not suitable for use in
open hearth or other furnaces, where the heating and melting is hard
fuel, gas or oil burner with an oxidizing flame. To work in
