LOU is designed to work as part of a standard wellhead lubricator 65 x 21 (65 x 35) equipped Salnikov device (orifice 65 mm, working pressure not 21 (35) MPa).
LOU is installed in the upper part of the lubricator under Salnikov device.
The design allows installation of the safety device attached to the wire device (not cutting off the wire).
The principle of actionThe principle of LU is reliable mechanical fixing device for standard tip globingo device with a diameter of 20 mm at its impact on the stuffing device. The captured device is removed from the lubricator well together with the safety. Then the device is released from the retaining mechanism LU.
PerformanceThe safety device has two variants, which differ by the way of mount LU the lubricator, depending on the type stuffing box lubricator device:
- LU-01 set inside the pipe lubricator and held from above due to the presence of diametrically protruding flange in the upper part of the housing of the safety device (photo 1);
- LU-02 is attached to the bottom part of the sealing device of the lubricator (with modification), using swivel grip, made in the upper end of the body of the safety device (photo 2).
