Shaft seal - mechanical with gland packing with a supply of cooling and locking fluid (S), interchangeable with mechanical end (T).
Installed in boiler rooms and are part of a powerful centralized heat supply networks, and large teploenergotsentrali (CHP). Pumped relatively pure water of high temperature (up to 180° C), which contains solid particles of a size not exceeding 0.2 mm at a concentration of not more than 5 mg/L.
