Timber - sawn timber with a square or rectangular cross-section, with a thickness of 100 mm, and the width cannot be more than twice the thickness.
The beam of large cross-section is made of round logs by filing the edges. The lumber of the same form, but with a thickness from 50mm to 100mm is called the bar. If the thickness and width less than 50mm - such lumber is referred to as the rake. The bar is made by sawing boards.
