Kevlar Helmet (Working title - "SICH") fully complies with class 2 protection according to DSTU.
Small test provodilis ü at a distance of 5 meters, with the use of such munitions:
- cartridge 7.62 x 25 TT (57-N-S) - initial speed 470 - 510 m/s.
- cartridge 9 x 19 Luger - initial velocity 415 - 440 m/s
- cartridge 9 x 18 PM (57-H-181) - initial speed 315 - 330 m/s
- steel ball weighing 1 gram (Imitation shard) - speed 580 - 600 m/s.
Kevlar Helmet "Sich" comes with two covers (winter/summer). At the moment, the helmet is made in a uniform size 52-58.
The size is controlled by the mutual arrangement of the damper inserts, and adjustable straps.
