The principle of operation of the classic traps
The principle of usage based on the use of percussion striking action produced by the frame with its sharp lowering. In an unloaded condition, the frame is on a wooden base. In working condition the rat trap is as follows. Frame to rotate around its axis of rotation, on which there is a spring, and lock in this position using a long rod (retainer). The locking mechanism is adjusted on top of the rotated frame, and is fixed by a hook. This hook fits the bait. The rat is attracted by the smell of the bait, it pulls and releases the latch.
