Included in the State register of varieties and plants suitable for distribution in Ukraine in 2006 for the forest-Steppe and Polesie.
Both universal purpose. Studied in Russia.

 

Economic and biological characteristics:

• The high-intensity variety of six-row barley.
• Similar with the cultivar Vakula, with the same unique properties of grain quality.
• According to the state variety trials 2003-2005 average yields in zones of forest-Steppe and Polesie were 50.8 - of 55.1 t/ha with increases above the average standard of 7.4-to 9.5 t / ha (17,4-20,9 %).
• Reduced photoperiodic sensitivity, allowing the varieties to ensure the highest yield at different time of the arrival of spring in the different latitudinal zones.
• High drought tolerance, which is genetically controlled by the rate of SOD-s2 drought, salt and acid resistance.
• Group resistance to dust and solid smut, mildew, helminthosporiosis, dwarf rust.
• Resistant to lodging, mid-season, Matures 3-5 days later Vakula, better Bush, has a longer spike, so in conditions of sufficient moisture, gives higher yields with increases of up to 10 kg/ha.
• The high energy of germination, complecated, low protein content allow the use of grade in the brewing industry.
