Air compressor – stationary, reciprocating, single stage, reciprocating, water cooled, lubricated cylinders and glands. The compressor includes the following main knots: base, cylinders and electric motor.

The base consists of standard units crank mechanism (crankshaft, connecting rod, crosshead), frames, lubrication of the movement mechanism and lubricator. Frame cast iron, cast, box shape with internal rib strengthening. In the upper part of the frame is provided with tight fitting lids hatches providing access to the details of the movement mechanism. The lower part of the frame serves as a reservoir for oil. For mounting of compressor cylinders to the frame, there are special bosses. In the holes of the transverse ribs is set crosshead cast-iron casings that serve as guides for the crossheads. Crankshaft is steel stamped with the cranks for installation of the connecting rod rests on roller bearings. At one end is mounted the motor rotor and fixed to the shaft end flange is made square hole for turning the compressor shaft with a crank before starting. At the other end of the shaft mounted gear to transmit rotation to the shaft of the oil pump of lubrication unit. The crossheads cast iron or aluminum alloy or stamped, made in concert with the sliders. With the connecting rod connects the crosshead by means of the fingers, which are produced from steel and the Assembly pressed into the crosshead. The steel connecting rods, forged, I-beam section. From there through a mesh strainer gear pump is supplied to the lubrication unit and then into the inner channel of the crankshaft, which has carts of oil on the working surface of the crank journals and connecting rods. In the lubrication system of high pressure oil is poured into the lubricator, where the piston is pumped to the cylinder and evenly distributed on the friction surface.

For lubrication of the movement mechanism can be applied oil brands AND 50A (GOST 20799-75), MC-20 (GOST 21743-76), K3-10 (TU 38.401479-84), IGP-49 (TU 38.101413-90); the cylinders and rod sealing devices – oil K-12 and K-19 (GOST 1861-73), the MS-20.
