Golden currant (Ribes aureum) – very unusual kind of currants are native to North America. The leaves of gooseberries, yellow beautiful flowers, very fragrant, black berries are delicious, not sour, tastes like a blueberry. The height of bushes about 2 m. Introduced in culture in Russia. Grown in gardens as an ornamental and fruiting shrub. It is also used as rootstock for gooseberries, red and black currants for growing in shtambovoy form.
