Carbamide-ammonia mixture, CAS is a processp of urea and ammonium nitrate. Due to the absence in the composition of the ammonia in the free form urea-ammiachnoi mixture has a number of inherent technological advantages over solid nitrogen fertilizers.
The introduction of CAS can be done superficially, without covering the soil. Ammonium and nitrate forms of nitrogen are well absorbed by the plants. Nitrate nitrogen, due to its mobility in the soil, is absorbed in the first place. Ammonium form of nitrogen is less mobile, but along with this it longer retained in the soil is not susceptible to leaching and settling. The application of Cam allows the plants for the entire growing season to be enriched ammonium form of nitrogen.
