HDPE (high density polyethylene) is a type of polymeric material (polyethylene) obtained by applying the technology of low pressure. Is also known as high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Technologically can be obtained by three basic rather simple methods. The first method is the use of suspension reaction, the second method is the reaction in solution, the third way - polymerization in the gas phase. Suspension type of polyethylene is produced without additives. In simple form it is based compositions additives, together with various dyes, and stabilizers. Gas-phase type of polyethylene is produced with a composition with a special stabilizer.

HDPE is a quite easy and elastic type of material that has the ability to crystallization. The rate of heat resistance of the individual brands D. D. can reach about 110 degrees Celsius and cooling of the material can reach up to -80 degrees Celsius.

Low-pressure polyethylene wonderful characteristic parameters impact strength and high heat resistance compared to high pressure polyethylene. The factor of long-term loading D. d revealed a high degree of creep of the material. This species is D. d also has outstanding dielectric properties, is biologically inert, and easily recycled.

D. d is an ideal material for the production of polyethylene pipes using the extrusion method (PAB-275, PANT 11-9, 273-83). From D. d is also obtained high-quality insulating material.
