The purpose and design
The double-entry pumps of type D, 1D and 2D have a fairly high efficiency and good suction capability.
Pumps of type D, 1D and 2D - centrifugal, horizontal, single-stage with double-sided polyproline supply of liquid to the impeller and spiral tap.
The pump casing has a connector in the horizontal plane. In the lower part of the pump housing located horizontally suction and discharge nozzles directed in opposite directions at an angle of 90 degrees to the axis of the pump. Such arrangement of the nozzles in combination with a horizontal split casing allows you to disassemble the pump, inspect and replace operating parts without removing the pump from the base and without dismantling the engine and pipes. The pump rotor is driven in rotation by an electric motor through an elastic sleeve coupling. The rotor support is ensured radijnye or angular contact bearings. The impeller double-entry that allows mainly to balance the axial forces.
To prevent leakage along the shaft adopts dual seals.
Pumped liquid
Water and liquids of similar chemical activity, temperature up to 85°C viscosity up to St. Pets content of solid inclusions is not more than 0.05 mass%, up to 0.2 mm and a hardness not more than 6,5 GPa (650 kgs/mm2).
