Pressure pipes made from polyethylene of low pressure
are designed for pipelines transporting water (including for
household and drinking water supply) and other liquid and gaseous
substances, to which polyethylene chemically racks. Pipes are made of
high-density polyethylene using a continuous screw extrusion. Pressure
polyethylene pipe made of five types (SDR26, SDR21, SDR13.6, SDR11,
SDR9), corresponding to the nominal pressure. Nominal pressure is constant
internal water pressure at 20 degrees Celsius which the pipes may
to withstand for 50 years.
