A grain dryer designed for continuous drying of wheat, rye, barley, oats, corn, rice, canola and other grains, oilseed, bean, varieties and cereal crops of seed, food and fodder purposes.

Dryers are manufactured according to TU 29.3-30991072-001-2002 in the climatic version for temperate zones U1, GOST 15150 and have the certificate of conformity № UA.SLM-19.1922-09
Dryers are available capacity 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50, 75 and 100 t/h on wheat during the removal of 5% moisture in dry mode cooling without heat exchanger with direct heating of the drying agent.

Data are given for the following conditions:
– temperature of drying agent — 100°C
– ambient temperature +10°C
– relative air humidity — 65%
– the grain is pre-cleaned
– the drying process is continuous with cooling
No external transport mechanisms.

The dryer consists of:

- base
drying column
- over-the-drier hopper
air channels
fans
- burner
remote control clothes dryer
The base is a metal frame that is installed on top of the drying column. The base is located on the exhaust mechanism, which is a slit-like carriage structure. In operation, the carriage performs a reciprocating movement and at the coincidence of slits of the grain from the mine podsosonny poured into the hopper. The carriage is driven by a pneumatic cylinder.

Podsosonnogo at the bottom of the hopper is a chain conveyor with scrapers, which delivers dried grain to the outside.

The drying column is a vertical shaft mounted on the base. Mine consists of identical sections, arranged one above the other, their number depends on the performance of the dryer. The lower section forms the cooling zone, the remaining zone heating.

Each section is made of galvanized steel and consists of four vertical walls, within which are mounted several rows of horizontal triangular ducts with the open side down.

Boxes its ends abut the wall section. Against one of the ends of the boxes in the side wall is triangular window, and the other end of it is closed. Boxes are divided into lead ( + ) and discharge ( — ): the first have Windows on the infeed side of the drying agent (hot zone) or atmospheric air (cooling zone), the second from the opposite side.

The deaf walls of the drying columns closed by the covering of corrugated galvanized steel and teploizolirovannye.

Over-the-drier hopper is located above the drying column and is a restricted on the sides and top capacity for grain. At the top is a feeding funnel and hatch. Inside are two level indicator of the grain. Over-the-drier hopper is used to create a water seal preventing leakage of drying agent of the mine and ensures continuous operation of the dryer in case of brief interruptions in the supply of grain.

For the organization of the movement of the drying agent, the exhaust and air from two sides from the inlet and outlet ducts of the drying column is heat-insulated air ducts with a covering of corrugated galvanized steel.

The design of air channels provided by the possibility of selection of passing through the grain in the cooling zone of ambient air and unsaturated exhaust of the drying agent, heating it in a zone of mixture flow and feeding in the heating zone of the drying column.

The fan is specialized air-blasting machines, enabling the movement of the required number of drying agent and atmospheric air.

Burner — automatic device designed to spray and ignite the fuel and control the combustion process.

The natural gas burner consists of a burner control mechanism of the gas damper, control unit and gas block.
