The device has four values of the layer thickness , whereby it is possible to achieve the right balance between strength, detail and best printing in FDM technology.
Fortus 450mc prints of parts with complex shapes much faster than its predecessors, which significantly saves time. Model support the new touch interface, thanks to which operation and maintenance are simple and straightforward.

- ABS-M30i – biocompatibility
- ABS-ESD7 – dissipates static charge
- ASA – UV stability and excellent appearance
- PC-ISO bio – compatibility and good rigidity
- PC – excellent mechanical properties and heat resistance
- FDM Nylon 12 – maximum strength
- ULTEM 9085 - a high ratio of strength-to-weight and the required rating of FST.
The ability to print material ULTEM1010 is expected in 2015.
