Speed range allows you to choose the most appropriate speed limit for procurement of hard or soft woods, and after turning, to perform the grinding. Description Holzstar DB 1100:

• Frame and stand made of cast iron. As you know, the cast iron perfectly resists vibration, significantly increases the weight and stability of the lathe.
• Front and back headstock, lathe for wood, also made of cast iron. This adds stability to the design, increases the ability to confront emerging vibrations and significantly increases its service life.
• Equipped with speed variator, which allows the master to smoothly adjust the spindle speed by selecting the speed limit. The speed range proposed in this model lathe is in the range from 500 rpm to 2000. On top of the headstock is an indicator that displays the speed limit of spindle rotation.
• Bearing cutter has three movable link that allows you to install it in any desired position. Position locking lever performs excellent, easy and simple.
• Headstock, lathe wood, has the ability to turn 180°, which allows the master to perform the machining of large workpieces of wood outside the machine bed. This feature of the lathe is in demand, when required to produce large flat items, like plates, dishes, bowls, etc.
