Main field of application of industrial reverse osmosis - water treatment (demineralization of water for technological purposes in many industries (e.g. chemical industry, electroplating, microelectronics, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, production of distilled water, industrial aquarium, and so on).
Basic requirements for the quality of water supplied to the reverse osmosis installation:
• suspended solids - not more than 1 unit turbidity (~0,58 mg/l)
• total salt content up to 50 g/l
• the value of pH from 2 to 11
• colloidal index SDI less than 4 (oxidizability less than 2-3 MgO 2/l)
• maximum operating temperature+45 °C
• free chlorine or other strong oxidizing agents (ozone, potassium permanganate, etc.) to 0.1 mg/L.
• oil - no.
