The most widely used oligomerisation (PMS).
Polydimethylsiloxane and polymethylsiloxane are one and the same. The prefix "di"
indicates that the silicon atom attached to 2 methyl groups.
Polymethylsiloxane is shorter, but less accurately.
Liquid PMS 500-1000 are used as
damping liquid.
