1. The PURPOSE
1.1. Relay transformer protection (relay) type RST-25, RZT-50 and RST-80 is protective relays for stand-alone or a liquid cooled machines with expansion vessel (transformers, multi-stage switches, capacitors, choke coils, and so on) and is mounted on the connecting pipe between the casing and the expansion vessel.
1.2. Relay type RST-25 (jet) is intended for switching signal "OFF" in case of an increase in velocity of the fluid in the connecting pipe above the specified threshold. The relay has a mechanical latch closed state of the contacts.
1.3. Relay types RZT-50 and RST-80 (dvuhpaltsevoe) is intended for switching of signals:
· WARNING - if a fault occurs in the operation of the protected device;
· "OFF" - when the loss of fluid or in excess of the velocity of the fluid in the connecting pipe above the specified threshold.
1.4. Nominal working fluid for the relay is transformer oil.

4. THE DEVICE AND PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
4.1. Device
The relay device is illustrated on the example of the relay RST-50, a schematic section of which is given in Fig. 1. The relay consists of a housing 1.1 and mechanical block 1.2.
The body is made of cast aluminum alloy and has an input and output flanges with holes for connecting the relay to the pipelines.
For visual inspection of the mechanical unit in the case, there are two sides of the sight glass. To protect the glass from dirt and harmful sun rays are fold up protective cover.
The red arrow on body indicates the direction of flow of fluid to the expansion vessel.
Mechanical block (Fig. 2) consists of a cover 2.1 and including mechanism 2.2.
The mechanical unit is mounted to the housing by bolts.
On the cover is cast from aluminum alloy mounted hasspouse valve 2.3, the control button 2.4 and in the terminal box, the unit is sealed to the magnetic
