Lastobond 21 universal bonding agent is applied in one layer. However, if you want a high degree of corrosion resistance and dynamic effects, it must be used in combination with the soil Lastobond 11. (Although even single-layer application of Lastobond 21 provides good resistance to corrosion, oils and solvents, additional applications of the soil Lastobond 11 enhances corrosion resistance and temperature).
Lastobond suitable for bonding natural rubber (NR), polyisobutylene (IR), polybutylene (BA), styrene with heterogeneous parameters (SBR), trichloroethane (CR), nitrile rubber (NBR), butyl rubber (IIR) and trichloroethane (ECO) with metals and plastics.
The combination of Lastobond 11 + Lastobond 21 is perfect for soft compounds of natural rubber (NR) and nitrile rubber (NBR) in the production of injection molding and die casting.

Application
Lastobond 21 can be applied by spraying, dipping or brushing. To achieve the recommended coating thickness of approximately 15 microns, we recommend the following dilutions:

Undiluted or 20% in toluene or xylene
Spraying
50-70% in toluene or xylene
Important:
Undiluted, Lastobond 21 should be thoroughly stirred before use to ensure uniformity. Dissolved the product to stir constantly to avoid precipitation (separation).
In dry form Lastobond 21 forms a hard, dry, black film. Coated parts can be stored for several weeks in a clean place.
