Wire HU is a dispersion-strengthened alloy (Cr23Al5 / DIN 1.4767) in powder metallurgy iron-chromium-aluminium (FeCrAl) for use at temperatures of more than 1425 °C (2600°F). The alloy is characterized by good dimensional stability and plasticity.Durable and stable resistance. The alloy has excellent properties of the oxide layer, which provides good protection in aggressive environments as well as environments with high carbon content. The unique combination of the oxide layer and the stability of shape promotes long life of the components. Due to the stability of the form, decreases the number of supporting elements.
