The pit

Function

The pit is an integral part of the circulating system. The pit KOSUN LCS designed to clean the mud from the cuttings from the drilling of oil and gas wells. The pit KOSUN LCSworks in the circulation system and is used as the second stage of filtration the mud after the shakers, the main function is to remove solid particle size 40-74 micron. The simple design and the optimal ratio of taper work items allows to achieve good cleaning results.

Structure

Submission the cleaning solution in the hydrocyclones is from the input of the collector under conditional pressure. As a result of input power in a spiral in hydrocyclones is the rotation of the fluid at high speed. Under pressure centrifugal the force created by the rotation of the medium, large and heavy particles (sand) concentrate at the walls of the hydrocyclone, move down and condensed mass is discharged through the nozzle, and the main part of the purified solution is directed into the discharge manifold. He put on the capacity of the solution.

Technical characteristics

Drilling the solution is transported from the second compartment of the tank sludge pump with suction of the pipeline. Next on the pressure pipe is pumped into the inlet pipe hydrocyclone under a pressure of 0.3-0.4 MPa. it can be divided solid particles size 45μm～74μm.Cleaned the solution pipeline merges into the Bay of technological capacity. Unloading sludge is produced through the nozzle of the hydrocyclone and a removable tray on folding tray shakers, where the sludge is discharged into the container slamboree.
