A device for determining the strength of the film at impact. Available in two versions (cargo weight 1 or 2 kg).
The design of the instrument Kick U1 made in accordance with modern requirements of international standard ISO 6272-2002 and Russian standard GOST R 53007-2008.
A distinctive feature of the device is its versatility.
The device is used in factory laboratories for incoming inspection of coatings in the production process, as well as in field conditions when carrying out maintenance work.
The instrument is suitable for testing of metals, plastics, flooring, wood, ceramics, glass, concrete, self-leveling floors.
The instrument measures the maximum height for a free fall from which the load of a certain weight does not cause visible mechanical damage on the surface of the test plate with a paint coating.
Durability of paint coatings at impact is expressed by the value of the maximum height in centimeters at which the hammer with a load of 1 kg falls freely onto the test surface in accordance with ISO 6272 or GOST 4765-73, or ASTM D 2794.
The device can be equipped with sets of beaters and matrices of various sizes:
GOST 4765 - drummer has a diameter spherical tip 8 mm and the diameter of the hole of the response matrix 15 mm
ISO 6272 - drummer has a diameter spherical tip 20 mm and the diameter of the hole of the response matrix 27 mm
ISO 6272 - drummer has a diameter spherical tip of 12.7 mm and a diameter of otvette response matrix of 16.3 mm
ASTM D 2794 - for foreign coatings and GOST 22233-2001 for testing coating aluminum profile. The drummer has a diameter spherical tip of 15.9 mm and the diameter of the hole of the response matrix of 16.3 mm

Application
Method of control:
Tests can be performed in two ways:
- not destroyed/collapsed when the test is carried out at a certain height of the drop and the specific weight of the cargo, i.e., have floor to meet the specified requirements;
as a test, which determines the minimum height of the drop with a gradual increase in drop height and a minimum mass or weight of the cargo, in which the coating is cracked or that he was peeling from the substrate.
Testing:
Install the required load at the desired height. If necessary, use suitable limiters thickness required to limit the depth of indentation. Place the test plate on the anvil coating outside (direct hit) or inside (reverse punch). Hold the test plate in position with the clamp clutch Release load and allow it to fall on the test plate, lying on the anvil. Inspect the floor with a magnifying glass
