Abstract
Analyses impact the reliability of memory on the performance of the computer.
Mathematical models are developed to assess the reliability of the operational
storage devices, allowing to consider the different ways
redundancy, the main characteristics of the devices, the impact of failures and
bounce circuits, as well as some recovery strategy.
The proposed methods improve the reliability of memory devices using
backup associative storage, replacement of faulty discharge cells, and
error-correcting coding data. Issues examined
diagnosing storage devices on chips.
