The barium chloride (barium chloride) is a binary inorganic substance belonging to the class of salts. Chemical formula BaCl2.
The barium chloride under standard conditions is a colorless rhombic crystals. Slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in ether. From aqueous solutions crystallize the dihydrate barium chloride — colorless crystals with monoclinic lattice. Toxic, MPC 0,5 mg/m3.
