The collector is air receiver, which is used for technological needs in the form the battery compressed air to create its inventory and uniform the pressure distribution in the ducts in the process of the compressors. Air collectors with nominal volumes: 0,5; 1,0; 1,6; 2,0; 3,2; 4,0; 6,3; 8,0; 10; 16; 20; 25; 32; 40; 50 m3 and working pressure: 0,8; 1,0; 1,6 MPa (8, 10, 16 kgf/cm2), are intended to reduce the pressure fluctuations in the ducts and for creating a reserve of air when air stationary the General-purpose compressors and rotary compressors, and also air compressors with discharge pressure up to 1.6 MPa (16 kgf/cm2).

The collectors in consultation with the technical conditions can be used as receivers and vessels for storage of nitrogen, argon, and other inert gases.

Air collectors are designed for use in areas with seismicity less than 7 points on the twelve point scale.

It is admitted for the replacement of support posts to support the cylindrical operation produced with a height of less than 10m in areas with seismicity up to 9 points, and at the height of the collectors 10 m — subject to confirmation of the expectation strength against seismic effects.

Climatic version of collectors: 1. When delivered to areas with moderate and cold climate — UHL1 according to GOST 15150. 2. When delivered to areas with tropical climate — T1 according to GOST 15150.

Air collectors can be operated in the regime of low-cycle loading — periodic rise and collapse. Mode low-cycle loading conditions must be specified by the company-the customer order of the collector.
