Trimmer for removal of overhangs DET-001 - used for simultaneous double-sided trim of the excess edges manually, as well as the creation of different size chamfers on edges thickness.
Order of use:
Trimmer is applied to the lined face pressed tightly from both sides to the surfaces of the part. Possible material thickness from 12.7 mm (1/2") to 25.4 mm (1"). The cutting edge overhangs is performed simultaneously from both sides in the direction of the arrow trimmer. With flat knives (the first in the direction of cutting) provide the cutting edge overhangs, and sloping blades are set on height if necessary, create a chamfer on the edge thickness.
For convenience in operation and extending the lifetime of the fixtures both sides of the trimmer are working.
As wear of the blades are easily replaceable on new - optional set of two flat oblique and four replaceable blades of tool steel DET-001K.
