Originator - Institute of plant im. V. Y. Yuryev of NAAS. Entered in the Register of plant varieties of Ukraine since 2007 for cultivation in the Steppe and forest-steppe of Ukraine. Many farmers choose it because of the great uniform ripening and flowering. Sunflower "Jason" loves the light and warmth, unpretentious to the soil and is one of the most profitable crops for cultivation on an industrial scale.
Approbation characteristics:
plant height - 175 cm;
basket flattened shape with a diameter of 24 cm;
lesistost - 21%;
panzerotti - 99,7%;
weight of 1000 seeds 80 g;
the oil content of the seeds to 50.1%.
Biological features:
Ripeness group - middle-early, growing season - 108 days. Lodging resistance is high. Resistance to shattering is high. Resistance to downy mildew is high. Broomrape resistance is high. Sufficiently drought-resistant and root rot resistant.
Economic features:
The most common in the production of three-line hybrid "Jason" has a yield potential of more than 4.2 t/ha. Actual yield varies from 15-25 t/ha.
