Selective pre-emergence herbicide , which allows to control annual single and bilobate weeds in the cultivation of most crops.
Mechanism of action the active substance of the drug Hortus, acetochlor is in violation of the process of cell division in the tissues of weeds. Under the action of acetochlor stops movement of amino acids and auxin in coleoptile, dramatically reduced osmotic pressure and the embryo dies. Acetochlor provides an irreversible impact on the weed. There is a lack of weeds within 12-16 weeks.

Amaranth, species , Highlander, types, Hrytsyky normal, Gills normal, wild Radish, Purslane, Galinsoga dribnokvitkovi , Nightshade black, Laliga brilliant, Triebert, types, Datura ordinary, chickweed, Dymjanka drug, common Ragweed , Pigweed white, Mishy green, the Purslane, the Millet, chicken, Rosicka red, the Chaff of the ordinary.
Recommendations for use
Efficacy may be reduced on soils with high content of humus and clay. Therefore, on such soils it is recommended to use the maximum dose of the drug.
The soil, if possible, should not have large hard lumps, must be moist and warm enough.
Application rate and method of application
Acetochlor is introduced to the surface of the soil. To optimally apply the product after rainfall or irrigate the soil after application ( up to 20 mm) If the soil is dry, it is necessary to perform the incorporation into the soil using light harrows.
Acetochlor is not effective against already sprouted weeds, can be used with other herbicides and pesticides.
The application rate of the drug Hortus corn-1,5-3 l/ha for soybean and sunflower – 2-3 l/ha.
