Gravel pumps (pump PR, PB, OVP and others) - this pump, which is suitable for pumping very dirty water with abrasive substances (e.g. sand). Structurally, this single-stage centrifugal pumps with open impeller (blades) one-way sign.
Gravel pumps are designed for highly contaminated water and abrasive mixture (sand, gravel etc) density, which is not more than 1300 kg/m3, the volume concentration of not more than 25% and a temperature of 60°C. Gravel pumps depending on the type of protection of the flow part is divided into:
- rubber (pump ETC);
- countervalue (pump PC);
from durable cast iron pump P and PB).

Materials flowing parts consist of wear - resistant rubber (CR), a liner oxide on the organic binding (PC) and wear-resistant cast iron pump type P).
