The scope of PTFE rod
High temperature resistance combined with excellent
dielectric characteristics of the material can be used in
the electronics industry for insulation of wires, cables, connectors,
the manufacture of printed circuit boards, the slot insulation of electrical machines as well as in
microwave technology. Fluoroplast-4 operated at temperatures from -269°C to +260°C,
moreover, the upper limit is not limited to the loss of chemical resistance, and
the reduction of physical and mechanical properties. When heated above +327°C is
melting, but the polymer does not go into viscous-fluid condition until
the decomposition temperature +415°C.
