Application

Molding silicone for the molds on the basis of tin,is a two-component material:Component A is a liquid rubber,and the component In the hardener (catalyst)on the basis of tin.Cured at room temperature.

 

Molding silicone is used for molding polyurethane/PU foam/polyurethane plastics, epoxy resins, plaster, wax and concrete. Series materials used for making candles, and plaster statues, toys, Soaps, sculptures of various forms, etc.

Recommendations for the use

Mix the base (component A) before use;

Thoroughly shake the container with the hardener (component B);

The proportion for mixing - 100A : 3V weight(3% in case of the need to increase the time of life );

Measure out the amount of base into a clean container for mixing;

Measure the desired amount of catalyst in the container;

Mix base and catalyst, stirring wand, to achieve uniformity of color. Carefully PrimeSite the mixture on the walls and the bottom of the container.

Although most often not required to carry out the degassing of the material because of its low viscosity, in some cases it is possible to produce. Place the container in a vacuum chamber to evacuate the trapped mixture in air. The material will rise, and when you reach the highest point, then drops off in the container. To prevent leakage of the material outside the container, you may need to interrupt (change settings) of vacuum. Keep the mixture under vacuum for 2-3 minutes.

Slowly launch the air in the vacuum chamber. Once in the chamber is restored to atmospheric pressure, remove the lid and remove the container.

Slowly pour smeshannyi (or mixed and degassed) material uniform stream at one point that the mixture is evenly spread over the picture. This minimizes the appearance of air bubbles in the material. Primarily it is recommended to pour the material on the pattern that will reduce the possibility of bubbles in critical areas of the form. To improve the separation of the product may be coated with a release agent for moulds.

Let the material Tvarditsa for 4-6 hours at a temperature of 24 º C before removing the product from the mold. Post cured at high temperatures not recommended for this material.

For best results, allow the form Tvarditsa on the air for another 24 hours before using it in production.
