The wax for impregnation of hives
We offer paraffin wax for the impregnation of hives, packaged in bags of 25 kg
The hive is formed on a thin film of paraffin which has hydrophobic properties. Cook in boiling paraffin from 10 to 30 minutes(until bubbles appear in the boiling water) so the wax went into the pores of the wood.
When heated the wood evaporates internal moisture and expansion of air in the pores of the wood, the wax as it begins to boil. After pulling out of the trough the paraffin from the surface is absorbed into the wood. When operating hives practically do not swell, shashel doesn't eat, the wood does not rot.
In the winter you need good ventilation in the hives preparationh, otherwise a lot of dampness (wood becomes practically air and moisture-proof)
This way you can protect the hive without painting.
