What kind of creature is a Spanish newt? This animal belongs to the tailed
amphibians, leading generally water, rarely semi-aquatic lifestyle.

The length of its curved body with a slightly flattened head and a pretty
wide mouth is 20-30 cm, with males smaller than females. Skin
green amphibian on the back is gray or greenish color, belly yellow, and
on both sides with small protruding tubercles, like the thorns
(hence the second name spined), though painted orange
strip.
