The Durometer of shore a is designed to measure the hardness on the surface of products in accordance with GOST 263-75. The hardness tester conforms to standards: ISO 7619 and ISO 868, DIN53505, ASTM D2240 and JIS K7215. Durometer is used in engineering, radio instrument-making industry and other industries.
Hardness determines the depth of penetration of the indenter into the material under a given force in a range of readings from 0 to 100.
Durometer shore is available in two versions - Durometer shore a and Durometer shore D.
Durometer shore a is designed for testing materials: soft rubber, elastomers, silicone, neopren, vinyl, butyl, nitrile, soft plastic, leather, wax, etc.,
Durometer shore D is used to determine the hardness of rubber, resin, glass, printed circuit boards, fiber, plastics, etc.
