The principle of operation of the pump horizontal sectional CNS 180-170

The operation of the pump based on the interaction of the blades of the rotating impeller and the fluid.
Rotating, the impeller informs the circular motion of the liquid between the blades. Due to centrifugal force, the liquid from the center of the wheel is moved to an external output, and the vacant space is again filled with liquid coming from the suction pipe under the action of the generated vacuum.
Leaving the impeller of the first section, the fluid enters the channels of the guide vane and then the second impeller pressure created in the first section, where - in the third impeller with the increased pressure created in the second section, and so on.
Released from the last impeller fluid through the guide apparatus is supplied into the cap and discharge it to the discharge line.
During operation of the pump, due to water pressure on unequal area side surfaces of the impeller, there is an axial force which tends to displace the rotor of the pump in the suction side.
To balance axial forces provided in the pump discharge device consisting of a disk unloading, ring and sleeve unloading and the spacer sleeve.
The liquid from the last stage flows through the annular gap between the sleeve and unloading spacer sleeve and presses the disk unloading with a force equal to the sum of forces acting on the impellers, but pointing towards the discharge. The pump rotor is balanced, equal effort is installed automatically.
Coming out of the discharge chamber, the fluid cools the seal on the discharge side.
The seal on the suction side is washed by the fluid flowing under pressure from the suction pipe. The fluid passing through the jacket of the shaft through the stuffing box, prevents air entrainment into the pump and simultaneously cools the seal. Most of the fluid passes through the gap between the face of the shaft and sleeve of the water seal in the cavity of the suction part passes between the face of the shaft and seal with the suction side cooling it, the rest comes out through the nozzle.
Tightening the gland should provide the possibility of leakage of the fluid between the shaft and stuffing box packing out in the amount of 5-15 l/h Lower number indicates excessive tightening of the packing, which increases friction loss and accelerates wear shirts shaft and nut rotor.
The pump rotor is driven in rotation by an electric motor attached to pump via a flexible sleeve coupling comprising two coupling halves (pump and motor) and fingers with rubber bushings.
The direction of rotation of the rotor of the pump is clockwise when viewed from motor side.
Pump and motor are mounted on the base plate so that the distance between the coupling halves remained a gap of 10 mm, when the pump rotor, shifted to failure in the suction side.
Before operating the motor unit must be grounded.
Pump CNS has the ability of self-priming. This condition is achieved due to the installation inside the pump valve.
In the pumping unit of the Central nervous system, usually on the pump set of General-purpose induction motors. Most often is used for these purposes applies three-phase asynchronous motor with a short-squirrel cage rotor.
The pumps are made with oil and mechanical seals.
Leakage through the mechanical seal according to the technical documentation for the mechanical seal.
The support brackets of the pump is made of cast iron, the material flow of the pumps CNS MF-20, Steel 35L, steel shaft 40, the guide apparatus, the ring and the body of the guiding apparatus bushing seal - pressmaterials AG-4B.
Pump shaft seal is accomplished by using the - stuffing box-section 10 mm
Pumps CNS stable and lasting work pressurized 2-6 m In the absence of backwater at the entrance, cavitation quickly destroys these high-speed pumps. When you install them for pumping water with a temperature of over 45°C it is necessary to increase back pressure on the intake side of the pump.
