Compound K-153 - characteristics, use of
Two-component epoxy compound K-153 with modifitsirovannoi transparent resin yellow hue and low viscosity allows configuration of different hardeners depending on the scope (terms of reference) and the wishes of the customer. If necessary, can be filled with inorganic filler.
Compound K-153 is used primarily for the manufacture and sealing of electrical goods, products subjected to shock and vibration, as well as for the application of anti-corrosion, waterproofing and getiterations chemically resistant coatings for concrete and metal surfaces operating at temperatures from -50 °C to 100 °C, the binder for stekloplastikov and plastics. Used for sealing, impregnating and potting in mechanical engineering.
Compound K-153 is produced by us without the use of inert diluents or volatile (such as Thiokol, or an organic solvent type 646 or acetone) worsening filmakademie properties and chemical resistance of the final products, thereby curing (polymerization) is much faster than analogues of other manufacturers (curing time at 20°C for 4-5 hours). Epoxy compound K-153 very good resistance to ultraviolet light, fresh and sea water, petroleum products (gasoline, crude oil), oils, solvents, acids and alkaline solutions.
Characteristics of the compound K-153
The mixture of components is performed on the construction site (on site). The coating is applied in two or more layers with intermediate drying of each layer of 6 - 8 hours.

Method of application.
1. Surface on which the coating is applied should be dry and free from dust and dirt.
2. Optimal conditions for applying temperature 18 - 25° C and relative humidity 50 to 70%.
3. The coating is applied by roller, brush or spill in two layers or more, with a total thickness up to 1 mm depending on the previous layer.
4. All operations associated with the coating shall be completed within 1-2 hours after mixing the components (time to loss of viability).
