Cartridge # 5 for filter pitcher

Purpose: for complex purification tap water with high iron content and organic matter.

Recommended for use in all filters-jugs TM OUR WATER and filters of similar size from other manufacturers.

5 stages of filtration water:

1. Activated carbon from coconut shell with the addition of silver-containing bactericidal component removes chlorine and organochlorine compounds, protects filter and purified water from microorganisms.
2. High quality ion exchange resin reduces the salinity and hardness of water by replacing calcium and magnesium causing the formation of scale on the water molecules. At this stage also deleted heavy metals, radionuclides, iron compounds.
3. Polymer sorption materialremoves organic compounds, which are responsible for the yellow color of the water, and the residual aluminum and iron.
4. High-performance activated carbon with a special porous structure removes natural organic compounds, improves the color, odor and taste the purified water.
5. Porous polypropylene fibreremoves mechanical impurities and retains the particles of filter media.

Note:

The degree of purification depends on the quality of water being treated and may vary the process of operation.
Do not use replacement cartridge longer (or to clean more water volume) than recommended. In any case, the cartridges must be changed not less than 1 time in 3 months.
When you first turn on the filter with a new cartridge, discard the first 2 pitcher filtered water into the sewer.
The cartridge is designed to clean only with cold tap water.
