Placing knives in the cutter drum
1. The installation of the necessary departure of the knife relative to the surface of the drum is made with a set of probes on the ground, and then on the second magnetic device.
2. Two magnetic fixture are installed as shown in the figure at the edges of the knife drum. The knife, being in a weakened state, "sticks" to the magnetic base of the stem and then fixed (clamped) to the drum.
3. Placing knives on a first bottom drum of the quadripartite machine or on the knife shaft of the planing machine.
