The advantages of the drug

- The drug has a high herbicidal efficiency against annual and perennial grass weeds and volunteers cultivated cereals;

The herbicide does not cause damage to of dicotyledonous plants. It can be used for sugar beet crops, sunflower, soybean and canola, regardless of the phase of plant development;

- Efficacy is not reduced when rainfall in two hours after application;

- Due to the fact that the active substance quizalofop-P-ethyl belongs to the organic ethers (ariloxipicolinamidei), it is lighter and mobility in plants. This results in a high efficacy conditions of lower temperatures, in comparison with other substances chemical groups.

Mechanism of action

The active ingredient of the drug enters the the plant through leaves and stems and moves them through the phloem and the xylem to the the points of growth. Quizalofop-P-ethyl inhibits the enzyme acetylsalicylate (ACC-Aza), which is vital for grass weeds. The drug destroys the surface and underground (root) part of the grains, preventing the regrowth perennial types. Due to its selectivity the drug does not cause phytotoxicity from dicotyledonous cultivated plants, on which it recommended. The herbicide only kills the weeds that are on the crops in the time of treatment and no effect on weeds that have emerged after application drug.
