Potassium hydrosulfate

Hydrosulfite potassium — salt acid alkali metal potassium and sulphuric acid with the chemical formula KHSO4. White powder.

Hydrosulfite potassium — colorless crystals rhombic crystal structure, spatial group P bca, the unit cell parameters are a = 0,840 nm, b= 0,979 nm, c = 1,893 nm, Z = 16.

Highly soluble in water, insoluble in acetone and ethanol.

Cooking
Hydrosulfate potassium is usually produced by neutralization of sulfuric acid the hydroxide of potassium.
