Sodium sulfur sour
The sodium hydrosulfide (sulfhydrate sodium, sodium sulphurous acid, bisulphide sodium) is prepared by absorption of hydrogen sulfide gas (waste of various industries – disulphide, 2-mercaptobenzthiazole) solution sodium hydroxide. The sodium hydrosulfide is fire - and explosion-proof, the degree effects on the body is a substance of the 4th class of danger. The sodium hydrosulfide is used in the leather industry as a component of the composition to remove the outer layer of skin. Also, the sodium hydrosulfide is used as raw material in the chemical industry (for production of ethyl mercaptan, butifos, dyes) in textile industry and for other purposes.

The sodium hydrosulfide is used mainly in nonferrous metallurgy in the beneficiation of ores of non-ferrous metals by flotation. In flotation, it is the reagent controller at enrichment of copper, lead, zinc, molybdenum and armaniseries ores.
In leather industry it is used as a component of the composition to remove the outer layer of skin.
It is also used as a raw material in chemical industry (for the production of ethyl mercaptan, butifos, dyes).
In the textile industry it is used for production artificial silk.
Also, the sodium hydrosulfide is a bleach for cotton,
flax, rayon and nylon.
Hydrosulfide sodium hydrosulfite comes in
loose form (flaked) and in the form of a solution.
