The sodium hydrosulfide
The sodium hydrosulfide is a colorless or white hygroscopic the crystals are soluble in water.
Is weak hydrolysis of salt - acidic salt of sodium and of hydrogen sulphide.
Melts without decomposition in a molten state the sodium hydrosulfide is black.
A typical reducing agent, is oxidized by atmospheric oxygen.
The density of 1.79 g/cm3.
The melting point of 350° C.
Hydrosulfide sodium is mainly used in color metallurgical beneficiation of ores of non-ferrous metals by flotation. In flotation, it is the reagent controller at enrichment of copper, lead, zinc, molybdenum and armaniseries ores.
In leather industry it is used as a component of the composition for removing the outer layer of skin.
He also used as a raw material in the chemical industry (for the production of ethyl mercaptan butifos, dyes).
In textile industry it is used in the production of artificial silk. Also the sodium hydrosulfide - it bleach for cotton, linen, rayon and nylon.
Hydrosulfide sodium hydrosulfite is available in loose form (flaked) and solution.
The hydrosulfide of sodium in the degree of impact on the body is to substances of the 4th class of danger.
