Muravlensky sodium (formate)

Sodium formate is a white or gray crystalline powder, odorless, soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohols, insoluble in ether.

Grade A is used in leather industry to reduce the acidity of the skin (the neutralization of the skin) and as the tanning agent in the production of oxalic (formic) acid, the textile industry as a mordant in dyeing fabrics, are widely used in petroleum, pharmaceuticals and agriculture.

Grade B and used in the construction as antifreeze plasticizer in the production of building structures. Increase the frost resistance of building mortars and concrete in winter at low temperatures down to -15° C. Depending on the desired result are added in various proportions. So also used in the construction of monolithic concrete and reinforced concrete structures monolithic parts prefabricated monolithic structures and embedment of joints prefabricated structures, as well as in the manufacture of precast concrete and concrete products in landfills.

As antifreeze additive sodium formate is used in the construction of monolithic concrete and reinforced concrete structures, monolithic parts prefabricated monolithic structures and embedment of joints of prefabricated structures, as well as in the manufacture of precast concrete and concrete products in landfills at a temperature of from +15C to —20C.

In summer, sodium Formate is accelerating and plasticizing additive for concrete.
