Sodium acetate
Sodium acetate 3-water or Sodium acetate the trihydrate is a trihydrate of the sodium salt of acetic acid, available in the form of flakes or lumps of irregular shape. Sodium acetate 3 water — soluble in water, disappears in the dry and spread out in moist air.
Sodium acetate when heated to 400 °C forms acetone, with N2O4 -(CH3COO)2O and sodium nitrate NaNO3, sodium hydroxide NaOH at 200°C — CH4 and sodium carbonate Na2CO3.

Sodium
acetate 3 water or Sodium acetate is used:
• in medicine,
