acid (Nitrilotrimethylphosphonic
acid, NTFC) is a white crystalline powder, is a combustible substance,
soluble in water, acid, alkali, and insoluble in organic
solvents.
Nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid (NTF acid) is used
• in the oil industry, as a regulator of physico-chemical
properties of drilling and cement slurries, as an inhibitor to prevent scaling in
the processes of oil production;
• in the construction industry, as a retarder of setting time
ready mix concrete in production of monolithic and precast concrete;
• when drilling NTF acid effectively reduces the viscosity of the natural
mud solution, remaining stable for a long time
• as a basic product in the preparation of salts nitrilotrimethylphosphonic
acid used in the production of detergents,
• in the pulp and paper industry during the bleaching of pulp of all kinds
at the stage of gelaterie,
• in power, as an inhibitor to prevent scaling in various
heat exchangers etc.
