Trichloroethylene (Trichoraetylenum) is a organochlorine compound, colorless, transparent, mobile, fly liquid with a smell reminiscent of the smell chloroform, and a sweet, burning taste. The density of 1,462—1,466. Fully distils at a temperature of 86-88 °C. Practically insoluble in water; miscible with organic solvents, not flammable and not explosive.
