Paraaminophenol

4-Aminophenol (paraaminophenol, mouth.paraaminophenol, 4-amino-1-oxybenzoyl) is an aromatic organic compound, representative Monohydric phenolsin the molecule of which one of the hydrogen atoms located in the para-position, substituted in the amino group. Has the chemical formula H2NC6H4OH.

Has manifesting properties, are included in the compositions of many black-and-white developers, the most famous of which is "Rodinal".

Shopping name — ursol brown (only applies to substances technical purity, is used as a dye).

Ursol brown is widely used in many industries industry. It has also found application in cosmetics, hairdressing art and photo printing.

Paraaminophenol found application in the synthesis of medicinal funds.
